North Florida Digital Group

D-Star Information

D-Star Groups and Mailing Lists:

    Area Groups:

  • North Florida D-Star Email Group
  • WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA D-STAR CLUB
    West Central Florida D-STAR Club members and users email group. This is an open group for memebers and users of D-Star digital repeater systems located in the west central Florida section of the ARRL, and throughout the State of Florida.
  • South Florida D-Star Email group
    Anything relating to D-Star in the South Florida section of the ARRL for Florida. Works with the West Central, and North Florida D-Star members also.
  • Georgia D-Star
    Georgia D-Star is dedicated to provide information on D-Star Amateur Radio operations in Georgia [USA]. Members are encouraged to contribute and share D-Star information to help new users with information on the D-Star technology, radio setup and operation along with best practices, applications, new hardware and repeater news for all members interested in D-Star in Georgia. This group can also serve as a central point of contact for Georgia D-Star users and repeater owners to plan, coordinate and share information.
  • Discussion List for D-STAR use in AL
    This list is for discussing D-STAR use and deployment in Alabama. Technical discussions are encouraged.
  • TDG-Texas Dstar Group
    The purpose of this group is to provide a meeting place for Texas users of the D-Star technology. It is a place to ask questions, post answers, keep a list of D-Star repeaters in and around Texas, and to post files of interest to other DStar users.

    General Groups:

  • D-Star * Digital
    An International discussion group for D-STAR Digital Amateur Radio. Mobile and Portable Radios, Repeaters, Gateways, Internet, Setup, Cloning Software, ICF files, Activities, Experimentation, Data Comm, Homebrew, Alternative sources, and anything to do with DSTAR worldwide.
  • D-Star Software radio
    Group dedicated to software for receiving and transmitting digital voice (D-Star).
  • DStar-Gateway
    Discussions with DStar Admins and users about DStar controllers, software, Gateways, and all Dstar related issues.
  • D-STAR APRS Interoperability
    This group is for the discussion of interoperability between D-STAR GPS Position Reporting, or D-PRS, and Automatic Position Reporting System, or APRS. In particular, the use of DStarTNC2 and DStarInterface software.
  • OpenDStar
    This is a well moderated group for discussing open source DStar radio projects including the OpenDstarGateway (ODG).

  • DVDongle
    This group is for the discussion of the DV Dongle used for D-Star ham radio communications.
  • Icom_IC-92AD
    A group for folks interested in icoms IC-92AD digital HT.
  • Icom IC-2820H
    This group is for people interested in the new Icom IC-2820H 144/440 D-Star upgradeable radio.
  • Icom ID91_IC91A_IC91AD
    This group is intended for the sharing of information related to the iCom IC-91A and IC-91AD hand held radios and the exciting new D-Star technology in general.
  • iCOM IC-PCR2500 / IC-R2500 Discussion
    Your place to discuss and trade information about the new iCOM IC-R2500 and IC-PCR2500 dualwatch, digital mode, diversity, computer controlled or stand-alone scanning receiver (with optional APCO P25 and DStar digital decode).

The North Florida Emergency Communications Plan (PDF Version) is currently undergoing revision. Meantime, we will continue using the existing plan.
